Tatsfield Primary School is a thriving, happy school in Surrey on the border of Kent and Bromley.  The majority of pupils live within walking distance of the school, but many pupils travel from neighbouring areas such as Biggin Hill and Westerham.

Reception Class - September 2027 entry

We hold regular Open Mornings for parents and carers of children who are due to start school in September 2027. Click here to book onto one of our Open Mornings for a tour of the school and a meeting with Mrs Jewitt, our Headteacher.

The closing date for on-time applications to start primary school in September 2027 is 15th January 2027.

Parents should complete the application and return it to the local authority where their child lives.  More information can be found on the admissions page of the Surrey County Council website.

Admissions into Years 1-6 (In-Year Admissions)

Requests for in-year admissions are dealt with by the school and must be made on the In-Year Admissions form which can be downloaded below. All applications will be dealt with as soon as possible and within 10 working days of the application being received. If places are not available for the requested year group, applicants will be informed along with information regarding rights of appeal.

Appeals resulting from in-year admission applications will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.

Our links with Surrey County Council

As a former Surrey Local Authority (LA) Community School, Tatsfield Primary School’s admission arrangements fall within the current LA policy.   The LA administers admissions for the new Year R (Reception Year) intake.

The school’s Published Admission Number (PAN) is 30 for each year group, from Reception to Year 6.
